For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all His ways. -Psalm 91:11

Teaching Tips: Any child from newborn to elementary age could make this craft. For older children, use larger muffin liners instead of the regular muffin liners. You could use this craft with this Christmas lesson: Jesus is Born or you could use this craft with this Easter lesson: Jesus Loves Me with toddlers and preschoolers. Both lessons reference angels. You could have older preschoolers and elementary children memorize Psalm 91:11. You could also talk about the vocabulary in the verse.

Below are some other Bible verses you could refer to when doing this craft!

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of angels of God over one sinner who repents. -Luke 15:10 (Jesus spoke these words.)

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? -Hebrews 1:14

For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16 (Even angels were created for God's glory.)

See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven. -Matthew 18:10 (Jesus spoke these words.)

And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. -Matthew 24:31 (Jesus spoke these words.)

For it is written, "He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully." -Luke 4:10 (Jesus spoke these words.)

But there is a place where someone has testified: "What is mankind that you are mindful of them, a son of man that you care for him? You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor and put everything under their feet. In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to them. But we do see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone. -Hebrews 2:6-9

Encouragement: You are creating a beautiful keepsake, allowing your child sensory experiences with paint on feet, and teaching your child that he or she is watched by angels! Good job to you, mama, dada, caregiver, teacher, etc.!!
